A reporter asked: at the invitation of the government of the Republic of Zambia, Premier Li Keqiang will pay an official visit to Zambia from November 19th to 20th. How does China evaluate the current China-Zambia relationship? What are the expectations for this visit? Lin Jian stated that Zambia is China's comprehensive strategic partner in Africa. In the 61 years since the establishment of diplomatic relations, China and Zambia have always promoted bilateral relations based on mutual respect, equality, and mutual benefit, with enduring traditional friendship. In recent years, under the common concern and strategic guidance of President Xi Jinping and President Edgar Lungu, China-Zambia relations have maintained a high-level operation, with continued mutual trust and fruitful cooperation in various fields.
