Wenyuan Knowledge and Grab are approved to launch self-driving tests in Singapore.

On November 13th, Wenyan Zhixing (WeRide) and Southeast Asian super app Grab announced that the Singapore Land Transport Authority has officially approved their Ai.R autonomous driving test fleet to operate in the Jurong area. The Ai.R autonomous driving travel service will cover two exclusive shuttle routes in the Jurong area and will welcome its first batch of public passengers in early 2026. During the testing and initial public operation phase of autonomous vehicles, all vehicles will be equipped with trained safety officers who will monitor the vehicle's operation status in real time.
