According to Xinhua News Agency, the first Sino-African Joint Medical Center agreement signing and unveiling ceremony was held at the Zhong-Ji Friendship Hospital in Conakry, the capital of Guinea, on the 12th. On that day, Shen Hongbing, Vice Minister of the National Health Commission of China and Director of the National Health Commission of China, and the Minister of Health and Public Hygiene of Guinea, Dr. Oumar Dioue Ba, jointly signed the "Agreement between the National Health Commission of the People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Health and Public Hygiene of the Republic of Guinea on the Establishment of Sino-African Joint Medical Center". The agreement aims to closely focus on the development needs of Guinea's health sector, support the joint construction of the Sino-African Joint Medical Center by relevant medical and health institutions in Beijing, China and the Zhong-Ji Friendship Hospital in Guinea. Through the introduction of technology, talent training, standard construction, quality control improvement, research support, and industrial development, the Zhong-Ji Friendship Hospital will be built into a Sino-African Joint Medical Center for precise diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, minimally invasive surgery, and artificial intelligence diagnosis and treatment in the West African region.
