Three major port groups in the world layout in Huangshi.

On November 11th, at the Yangtze River intermodal supply chain cooperation conference, Huangshi City signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Shenzhen Port Group Limited and Shanghai International Port Company, investing over 16 billion yuan in the Huangshi New Port Park. With this, the largest single port in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River with a 14-kilometer coastline has become the intersection of the strategic layout of the world's three major port groups. Shenzhen Yantian Port is one of the world's largest single container terminals, with over 40,000 standard containers shipped daily worldwide. Shanghai Port has ranked first in container throughput for 15 consecutive years globally, and Ningbo Zhoushan Port has ranked first in cargo throughput for 16 consecutive years globally, with container throughput ranking third in the world. Since 2014, Huangshi has been strategically cooperating with Shenzhen Yantian Port to jointly build the Huangshi New Port; and with Ningbo Zhoushan Port, they have worked together to create a "river-sea direct + multimodal transport" two-way logistics channel, achieving seamless connection with coastal international ports.
