Yushu Technology's multi-floor compound navigation robot patent has been authorized.
The Tianyancha App shows that recently, the patent for a "multi-floor composite navigation method and device for robots" applied by Yushu Technology Co., Ltd. has been authorized. The abstract shows that this invention belongs to the field of robot navigation technology. Existing robot navigation solutions have a low level of grid map information preservation in multi-floor navigation processes, making it difficult to obtain the optimal planning path. This invention proposes a method for multi-floor composite navigation for robots, which fully considers the characteristics of multi-floor navigation. It divides the 3D point cloud map into different floors, creating three-dimensional point cloud maps for different floors, significantly improving the level of information preservation. The method then projects and rasterizes each floor's 3D point cloud map separately, generating multiple two-dimensional maps on the same floor. It further analyzes the connection relationships between floors as well as the structural features between floors to obtain inter-floor connection maps. Based on the inter-floor connection maps and the two-dimensional maps on the same floor, topological path search is conducted to determine the optimal planning path, enabling accurate navigation for robots in multi-floor environments within the same building.
