In the first ten months of this year, the national investment in water conservancy construction exceeded trillions of yuan.

According to the Ministry of Water Resources, from January to October this year, the country completed a total investment of 1.0947 trillion yuan in water conservancy construction, implementing a total of 46,000 water conservancy projects, with 28,000 new water conservancy projects started. Among them, major water conservancy projects include the second phase of reinforcement of key embankments in the Dongting Lake area of Hunan Province, the Huangmaoxia Reservoir in Guangdong Province, and the Yongbei Irrigation Area in Guangxi. Water conservancy construction has created jobs for 2.484 million people, with a total wage payment of 47.06 billion yuan.
