The Hong Kong Monetary Authority appointed Dong Yiyue as the new Chief Executive Officer, starting on February 4th next year.

According to the Wise Financial APP, on November 13th, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) announced the appointment of Dr. Eddie Yue as the new Chief Executive, with a term of three years effective from February 4, 2026. Dr. Norman Chan's term will expire on February 3, 2026, and the HKMA thanks Dr. Chan for his outstanding contributions over the past years.
