The State Intellectual Property Office recently issued a notice that 348 enterprises in our province have been approved to use geographical indication special marks on their products, and have obtained protection for geographical indication products. "With the addition of these new enterprises, the number of businesses in Shaanxi using geographical indication special marks has reached 1573, an increase of 1239 from the end of 2020." The person in charge of the provincial Intellectual Property Office explained that the task of reaching 800 enterprises using geographical indication special marks by 2025, as proposed in the "Outline of Shaanxi Province's Construction of an Intellectual Property Powerhouse", has been exceeded.
