The China Meteorological Administration continues to issue a yellow typhoon warning at 06:00 on November 12th.
Typhoon "Fenghuang" (Phoenix), the 26th typhoon of this year, was located at 5 o'clock this morning about 200 kilometers to the southwest of Eluanbi, Taiwan, in the northeast of the South China Sea. Its center is at 21.4 degrees north latitude and 119.0 degrees east longitude, with maximum wind force near the center reaching level 10 and minimum central pressure of 985 hPa. The radius of the wind circle is 200-240 kilometers. It is forecasted that "Fenghuang" will move towards the northeast at a speed of about 10 kilometers per hour, gradually weakening in intensity. It is expected to land or pass by the southern coast of Taiwan in the evening to night today, and then gradually transform into an extratropical cyclone. Wind forecast: From 08:00 on the 12th to 08:00 on the 13th, due to the combined influence of the typhoon and cold air, there will be strong winds of level 6-8, gusts of level 9-10 in the East China Sea, Taiwan Strait, waters east of Taiwan, Bashi Channel, northeastern South China Sea, coastal areas of Zhejiang, Fujian, Guangdong, and Taiwan, with wind force reaching level 9-10 and gusts of level 11-12 in the southwestern part of the East China Sea, Taiwan Strait, northeastern South China Sea, and southwestern coastal areas of Taiwan. Precipitation forecast: From 08:00 on the 12th to 08:00 on the 13th, heavy to torrential rain is expected in eastern Zhejiang, northern and southern parts of Taiwan.
