The number of entries and exits at Hubei ports has exceeded last year's figures so far this year.

According to the Hubei Immigration Inspection General Station, as of November 9th, the total number of inbound and outbound personnel at Hubei ports this year has exceeded 1.5 million, reaching a new high in nearly 6 years, surpassing the level for the whole year of 2024. Among them, the number of foreign tourists exceeded 334,000, an increase of 11.7% compared to the whole year last year. With the dual benefits of a series of visa-free policies and the 240-hour transit visa exemption policy, the number of foreign tourists entering directly through Hubei passenger ports reached 168,000, a year-on-year increase of 39.5%. Among them, nearly 100,000 foreign tourists entered through visa-free and transit visa exemption policies, accounting for six tenths of the total number of foreign tourists entering, mainly for tourism, business, visiting relatives and other activities in Hubei.
