Recently, Huizhou City, Guangdong Province issued the "Huizhou City Household Registration Migration Registration Management Regulations", which states that individuals who have participated in social insurance in Huizhou and have lived continuously for more than six months can apply for household registration. Their spouses, minor children, and parents who share their living arrangements can also move with them. The differentiated household registration conditions between the urban area and the county-level city have been eliminated. The restrictions on age (under 45 years old), the need to sign a labor contract with the introducing unit, and the requirement to participate in social insurance for 3 to 6 months in the urban area have also been lifted. The new regulations will take effect from the date of publication and will be valid for a period of 5 years.
