Hubei Huanggang housing provident fund will be optimized next week, available for housing renovation for children's living adaptation.
Starting from November 17th, Huanggang City will optimize and adjust some of the policies regarding the use of housing provident fund. Through implementing three new measures including increasing the amount of loans for existing houses, supporting renovation withdrawals for child-friendly improvements, and promoting monthly withdrawals to directly pay rent, the aim is to further benefit the people, stabilize the market, and boost consumption. According to the new policy, for employed individuals purchasing newly-built existing houses, the maximum amount of provident fund loans will increase by 20%. After the adjustment, a single employed individual household can borrow up to 840,000 yuan, while a household with two employed individuals can borrow up to 1.2 million yuan. Previously, the increased loan limit policy mainly targeted employees purchasing high-quality or prefabricated houses. This time, the support will be expanded to include all newly-built existing houses, with the goal of promoting a transition in the real estate market development model towards selling existing houses. The definition of existing houses will also be broadened, including both existing housing units with certificates and pre-sold units that have not yet been certified but can be occupied.
