Morgan Stanley analysts say that US September non-farm payroll data may be released about three working days after the end of the government shutdown, while most other key monthly indicators may take one to two weeks to be published. Analysts such as Bradley Tian wrote in a report that data collection efforts have been disrupted, requiring more time for October data to be released, possibly not in time for the December Federal Open Market Committee meeting. However, the bank's economists believe that the Federal Reserve will have enough data to justify another interest rate cut.
