62.58%! Domestic intelligent driving has become standard.

The China Automotive Engineering Research Institute conducted special tests on more than 40 popular car models for combination driving assistance. The test scenarios included over 20 traffic situations such as the disappearance of cars in front on the highway, cutting in line forcefully, and animals crossing, as well as more than 30 complex risk scenarios such as merging and exiting roundabouts on city roads, pedestrians crossing, and motorcycles cutting in. Through thousands of tests and analysis of over a thousand real road traffic accident cases, it has been shown that the overall level of China's combination driving assistance technology has significantly improved. From January to July 2025, the penetration rate of passenger cars with combination driving assistance systems in China reached 62.58%. Experts believe that equipping cars with combination driving assistance systems is an inevitable trend in the development of the automotive industry, and significant improvements in technology development and market penetration indicate the need to fill gaps for future industry development.
