After Typhoon "Seagull" made landfall in the central city of Quy Nhon, Vietnam on the evening of November 6th, it caused serious damage to the area. In Quy Nhon, many trees with diameters of over ten centimeters were blown down by strong winds, the tin roofs of many buildings were lifted off by the wind, and glass windows of some buildings were shattered by flying debris carried by the strong winds. In addition, the typhoon brought heavy rainfall, causing flooding in some areas. Reporters observed that currently, most of Quy Nhon is without electricity, water, or internet, and transportation is severely limited. The local government is currently organizing relief and repair work.
