During the China International Import Expo, Airbus and China Southern Airlines signed an agreement to install the new generation of on-board high-speed communication system HBCplus on 30 A350 aircraft operated by China Southern Airlines. This includes retrofitting 20 existing aircraft and installing the system online on 10 new aircraft. This marks China Southern Airlines as the first airline in China to adopt the HBCplus on-board communication system. The first aircraft with this system installed is expected to enter into service in 2026.
