China and Samoa jointly issue commemorative stamps to mark the 50th anniversary of establishing diplomatic relations.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the People's Republic of China and the Independent State of Samoa, on November 6th, China Post and Samoa Post jointly issued commemorative stamps. The stamp set consists of two stamps, with the unique bird species of both countries as the core design elements. The main subjects of the stamps are the "White Eared Pheasant" from Danba County, Sichuan Province, China and the national bird of Samoa, the "Tooth-billed Pigeon", showcasing the beauty of the two countries' unique natural ecosystems and conveying the deep friendship between the people of China and Samoa.
