As of the closing of the day, the price of light crude oil futures for December delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange fell by 96 cents to settle at $59.60 per barrel, a decrease of 1.59%; while the price of Brent crude oil futures for January delivery in London fell by 92 cents to settle at $63.52 per barrel, a decrease of 1.43%.
