According to sources, Tung has joined Societe Generale in Hong Kong as Managing Director, after leading the regional financial investor team at HSBC. Insiders say Tung will be in charge of transaction affairs, including mergers and acquisitions involving private equity companies and businesses in the healthcare sector. Representatives from Societe Generale and HSBC declined to comment.
