The total value of more than 4,100 batches of imported exhibition items at the 8th CIIE exceeded 8 billion yuan.

According to statistics from the Shanghai Customs, in the eight years since the establishment of the China International Import Expo, more than 4,100 batches of exhibits have entered the country for the exhibition, with a total value of over 8 billion yuan. From the 7th CIIE in 2018 to the 8th CIIE in 2024, Shanghai Customs has supervised a total of 3,890 batches of imported exhibits for the CIIE, with a value of approximately 7.97 billion yuan. The 8th CIIE is about to open, and as of October 31st, Shanghai Customs has provided service and support for the clearance of 289 batches of exhibits for the CIIE, with a value of about 176 million yuan, most of which have already been entered and set up for exhibition.
