On November 1st, the 20-day peak period of "Double 11" online shopping railway express service officially started, with plans to arrange more than 1,700 sets of high-speed passenger trains daily to store parcels using the spare space in the carriages and high-speed express containers. China Railway Express Co., Ltd. recently issued the above news. An official from China State Railway Group Co., Ltd. stated that during this year's "Double 11" period, the use of high-speed passenger trains and high-speed confirmed freight trains to transport parcels has increased by over 70% and 54% respectively compared to 2020, and the "High-Speed Extreme Delivery" service coverage in cities has increased by 145%.
