The head of the ideal car product line, Lao Tangge Tango, posted on Weibo about the fire incident involving the Shanghai Ideal MEGA 2024 model vehicle. He mentioned that more than 4 hours before the accident, the cloud had already reported a battery insulation fault, and customer service had contacted the car controller and driver. The vehicle even entered a breakdown state due to a small battery feeding power and called for rescue. He expressed his personal belief that the incident may be related to the fact that out of over 1.4 million vehicles, there had never been a case of battery overheating due to abnormal vehicle conditions. Perhaps because similar issues had never been encountered before, many colleagues became complacent and took it lightly, which allowed a fault that could have been prevented early on to evolve into a major accident due to driving with a "serious insulation fault."
