LSEG: The total global IPO amount for Mainland Chinese enterprises reached $15.5 billion in the first three quarters of 2025, an 83% increase year-on-year.
According to the Wisdom Financial APP, Yu Xiaoxue, the relationship and data manager of the LSEG investment bank/lawyer, released the "2025 Capital Market Report and Ranking for the First Three Quarters". The data shows that mainland Chinese companies raised a total of 92.62 billion US dollars in the global capital markets through stock offerings and stock-linked transactions in the first three quarters of 2025, an increase of 120% year-on-year and 11% month-on-month. The number of offerings increased by 42% compared to the same period in 2024, totaling 404 transactions, with a 16% increase in the third quarter of 2025 compared to the second quarter. The total amount raised through initial public offerings (IPOs) reached 15.5 billion US dollars, an 83% increase year-on-year and a 47% increase month-on-month. The total amount raised through additional offerings reached 553.2 billion US dollars, an increase of 250% year-on-year, but a decrease of 6% month-on-month. The total amount raised through convertible bonds and stock-linked offerings in China reached 21.8 billion US dollars, an increase of 23% year-on-year and 39% month-on-month.
