Hong Kong coal stocks generally rose, with China Shenhua initially rising by 6%, hitting a new record high in the market. Yanzhou Coal in Australia rose by 3.8%, while China Coal Energy and Shenhua Energy Development both saw increases of around 3%. Yanzhou Mining Energy, China Qinfa, Shougang Resources, and South-South Resources all experienced gains as well.
