The Hong Kong Monetary Authority has reduced the base interest rate by 25 basis points to 4.25%.

According to the Wisdom Financial News app, on October 30th, in the early hours of the morning, the US interest rate decision was announced. The Federal Reserve lowered the federal funds rate by 0.25% to 3.75% to 4%, in line with expectations. The committee decided to end the balance sheet reduction on December 1st. On the same day, the Hong Kong Monetary Authority lowered the base rate by 25 basis points to 4.25%.
