October 1416, the 2026 Artificial Intelligence Industry Conference will be held in Jinan, Shandong.
On October 1416, the 2026 Artificial Intelligence Industry Conference will be held in Jinan, Shandong. The conference is jointly hosted by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the Shandong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and the Jinan Municipal People's Government. With the theme of "accelerating the advancement of AI-enabled new industrialization," it aims to create a comprehensive industry platform in China's AI field that integrates high-end exchange, achievement releases, and scenario matchmaking.
The conference will feature an opening ceremony and main forum, along with more than 20 thematic forums and industry matchmaking sessions. The event will invite Nobel laureates, academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, and other top industry experts to share insights, and will release multiple major research achievements from national ministries and commissions and scientific research institutions, comprehensively presenting the "industry-scenario-entity" trinity development pattern established in China's AI industry.
The Intelligent Agent Innovation Forum, Embodied Intelligence Industry Forum, Edge Intelligence Forum, AI Dataset and Data Elements Forum, and AI-Native Application Forum will be held successively. The forums will target bottleneck issues in the industry such as large model iterative optimization, humanoid Siasun Robot&Automation engineering implementation, edge-side lightweight models, and high-quality training data supply. They will bring together technical leaders from top domestic research institutes and leading technology enterprises to deeply discuss basic technology innovation paths, exchange progress in cutting-edge prototype product development, and explore paths for independent innovation in AI underlying technologies.
In addition to the thematic forums, the conference will simultaneously hold multiple high-level special supporting activities. Special activities such as the "AI Standards Tour" of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's Artificial Intelligence Standardization Technical Committee and the IEEE Trustworthy Intelligence and Digital Trust Side Event will be held concurrently.
It is reported that in the computing infrastructure section of this conference, Huawei, Inspur, Sugon, and the three major telecom operators China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom will appear on the same stage.
Huawei, relying on its new Ascend computing ecosystem, has launched the Ascend 960 super node, equipped with the world's first NPO optical engine, scalable to 4,096 cards, with a single-cluster peak computing power of 8 EFLOPS FP8. Multi-cluster interconnection can support million-card-scale training, fully adapting to the native training needs of ultra-large-parameter large models, and continuously building an open-source, open, autonomous and controllable fully domestic computing ecosystem.
Inspur, meanwhile, focuses on computing power sinking in industrial scenarios and building an "AI factory" implementation model. Relying on the national AI application pilot test base, it has completed more than 300 model training projects and implemented nearly 1,000 industrial intelligent agents, covering 41 major industrial categories, and has built 15 vertical industrial large models and a matrix of 43 industry intelligent agents. At the same time, through extreme power consumption optimization, it has reduced edge computing power consumption to 20 watts, empowering subdivided industries such as electromechanical pumps with 45 TOPS high-efficiency computing power, helping enterprises increase production efficiency by an average of 30%, truly realizing the movement of computing power from data centers to production lines.
The three major telecom operators China Mobile, China Unicom, and China Telecom focus on computing network scheduling, opening up channels for computing interconnection and efficient circulation, and building an inclusive computing service system covering the entire domain.
In addition, Iflytek Co.,ltd., NVIDIA, Tencent, NTES, Unitree, Kling, BYD Company Limited, Siemens, and other enterprises will also appear in a concentrated manner, with a lineup covering the entire industry, the entire chain, and all scenarios. Among them, NVIDIA, with its Vera Rubin next-generation platform, has greatly reduced AI training costs. Compared with the previous generation of products, GPU usage for MoE model training has been reduced by three-quarters, and the cost per token of inference has dropped to one-tenth of the original, using extreme cost advantages to break through the core economic barriers to AI industry implementation and making large-scale commercial use of industrial AI possible.
Guoyuan stated that it will continue to focus on opportunities on the AI application side and infrastructure side: on the application side, referring to areas where business models have been preliminarily verified, pay attention to directions with similar implementation potential and select listed companies that can substantially benefit; on the infrastructure side, track segments where the supply-demand gap continues to intensify and position in listed companies with excellent capacity ramp-up and delivery fulfillment capabilities in the relevant segments.
