China Shenhua Energy (01088): Zhuang Yuan Appointed as Authorized Representative

China Shenhua Energy (01088) announced that Mr. Song Jinggang, due to a work reassignment, has resigned from his positions as Chief Accountant, Secretary of the Board of Directors, and Joint Company Secretary of the Company, and has simultaneously ceased to serve as an authorized representative of the Company under Rule 3.05 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited. The aforementioned resignations took effect on October 9, 2026. After Mr. Song Jinggang's departure, he will no longer hold any position with the Company or its controlled subsidiaries. Before the Company appoints a new Secretary of the Board of Directors, Mr. Zhang Changyan, an executive director and general manager of the Company, will temporarily perform the duties of the Secretary of the Board of Directors. After Mr. Song Jinggang's resignation as Joint Company Secretary, Mr. Zhuang Yuan will continue to serve as Company Secretary and has been appointed as an authorized representative of the Company.
