Realord Technology Holdings (01196) rose nearly 6% in early trading. As of press time, it was up 4.63% at HK$3.725, with a turnover of HK$18.2129 million. On the news front, Realord Technology Holdings announced that it has entered into a memorandum with Longma Intelligent Computing for a possible cooperation to build an artificial intelligence data center in Malaysia. The two parties intend to explore cooperation matters for the project, which is expected to involve the acquisition of land in Johor, Malaysia and the construction of facilities and related infrastructure dedicated to the development of artificial intelligence data centers to support artificial intelligence, cloud computing and other high-performance computing applications. The project is planned with a total capacity of up to approximately 300 megawatts, to be developed in phases, with the first phase comprising approximately 100 megawatts. The company stated that this move represents Realord Technology's business exploration in the field of AI computing infrastructure under its "traditional industries + digital economy" strategy. By scale, 300MW is equivalent to about one-fifth of Johor's current total data center capacity, and is of the same order of magnitude as the US$3 billion, 280MW new Johor project announced by Blackstone-owned AirTrunk in April this year. The company stated that if the project is completed as planned, it will rank among the largest AIDC parks in Johor.
