Yingde Greatchem Chemicals (300804.SZ) subsidiary construction project some units enter trial production stage

Yingde Greatchem Chemicals (300804.SZ) announced that on September 29, 2026, its wholly-owned subsidiary Hubei Shengkang Chemical Co., Ltd. ("Shengkang Chemical") received the "Notice of Trial Production for Hazardous Chemicals Construction Project" [Yi Gao Wei Hua Project Notice No. (2026) 14] issued by the Emergency Management Bureau of the Yichang High-tech Zone Management Committee. The Emergency Management Bureau of the Yichang High-tech Zone Management Committee approved the trial production plan for Shengkang Chemical's 2-nitro-3-methylbenzoic acid production facility and part of the product production facilities of the company's fundraising investment project, the "Annual Production of 5,500 Tons of Specialty Chemicals Construction Project." The trial production period is from October 9, 2026 to October 8, 2027. Subsequently, Shengkang Chemical will strictly follow legal and regulatory requirements and the product production process to arrange trial production in an orderly manner, and gradually promote the trial production facilities to reach full capacity and meet standards. 2-nitro-3-methylbenzoic acid is an important organic synthesis intermediate, primarily used for the synthesis of N,3-dimethyl-5-chloro-2-aminobenzamide (K-amine), and ultimately for the production of the highly effective insecticide chlorantraniliprole. The gradual release of production capacity for 2-nitro-3-methylbenzoic acid will help the company expand its production scale, enrich its product structure, and broaden its customer base, and will have a positive impact on the company's future operating performance.
