BJ ENERGY INTL (00686) subsidiary plans to invest 236 million yuan to construct a comprehensive energy social investment cooperation project at Beijing University of Technology.

BJ ENERGY INTL (00686) announced that on August 20, 2026, Beijing University of Technology, as the entrusting party, entered into an agreement with the company's indirectly wholly-owned subsidiary, Beijing Energy Smart Energy (as the contractor and service provider). According to the agreement, Beijing Energy Smart Energy will be responsible for the investment, financing, design, and construction of the comprehensive energy system for the new campus of Beijing University of Technology (Phase I of the Fangshan New Campus), which includes heating and cooling systems, photovoltaic power generation systems, bathing hot water heating systems, and a comprehensive energy management platform, as well as the operation and management of the comprehensive energy system for a period of 20 years. The total construction investment that Beijing Energy Smart Energy will put into this project is RMB 236 million. This project is a socialized investment cooperation project for comprehensive energy located at the Fangshan New Campus (Phase I) of Beijing University of Technology. By participating in this project, the group can leverage its financial, technical, and operational advantages in comprehensive smart energy to further expand its business footprint in Beijing, securing a long-term, stable, and predictable source of service fees and electricity revenue, which aligns with the group's strategic development in clean energy and comprehensive energy services.
