According to media reports, CHERY AUTO (09973) has been actively laying out its embodied Siasun Robot & Automation business in recent years. Its subsidiary,Siasun Robot & Automation, is preparing for its initial public offering (IPO), hoping to raise funds through the listing for future technology development and business expansion. Zhang Guibing, President of CHERY's International Business and General Manager of Siasun Robot & Automation, stated that discussions are underway regarding potential listing locations, but he declined to disclose details such as the timeline or location for the potential listing. Zhang Guibing mentioned that relevant preparations are currently being made and discussions are ongoing with multiple IPO locations. The listing will not only provide financial support for future technology investments but will also help enhance the company's governance standards, transparency, and operational specifications. He further stated that Siasun Robot & Automation plans to significantly increase the delivery of humanoid Siasun Robots next year, aiming to raise global deliveries to 10,000 units and striving to enter the first tier of the global Siasun Robot industry. Siasun Robot & Automation was incubated and established by CHERY AUTO in January 2025. The company focuses on the research and sales of embodied intelligent products like humanoid Siasun Robots and robotic dogs, with over 3,000 Siasun Robots delivered globally, of which 2,000 have been sold overseas, covering more than 60 countries and regions. The bipedal humanoid Siasun Robot initially developed by Siasun Robot & Automation is mainly deployed in CHERY dealership stores, and it has started to enter more public service scenarios. This year, Siasun Robot & Automation launched a humanoid police Siasun Robot, with 110 units already in operation across multiple cities in China, assisting in traffic management, crowd guidance, and public safety promotion.
