In terms of news, CATHAY PAC AIR released its mid-term results for 2026 at noon today, reporting a revenue of HKD 68.061 billion, a year-on-year increase of 25.3%; profit attributable to shareholders of Jiangxi Guotai Group reached HKD 6.243 billion, a year-on-year increase of 71%; earnings per share were HKD 0.995, and a proposed ordinary share dividend of HKD 0.26 per share was announced, marking a year-on-year increase of 30%. The announcement indicated that the performance benefited from the sustained robust core demand of CATHAY PAC AIR and Cathay Cargo, improved performance of Hong Kong Express, as well as better profit contributions from affiliated companies. It is worth mentioning that the easing situation between the U.S. and Iran has led to a significant correction in oil prices.
