On Wednesday, biotechnology company Attovia Therapeutics (ATTO.US) officially debuted on NASDAQ, closing on its first day up 28.82%, at $21.90. The IPO price was $17. Founded in 2022, Attovias core technology is the "ATTOBODY" platform, a biotechnology platform based on biparatopic nanobodies, exclusively licensed from Alamar Biosciences (ALMR.US). This platform enables the development of multispecific antibody therapies targeting complex immune checkpoints.
The company currently has three drugs in development, with ATTO-1310 being its most critical asset. This drug has completed Phase I clinical trials involving healthy volunteers as well as patients with chronic pruritus and atopic dermatitis. ATTO-2306, designed as a bispecific antibody targeting IL-13 and IL-31, is expected to achieve more comprehensive efficacy coverage in the atopic dermatitis field. Meanwhile, ATTO-1091, as a trispecific antibody targeting three hot immune checkpointsTL1A, IL-23, and integrin 47aims at the vast inflammatory bowel disease market.
