Tencent Cloud announced that due to the continuous increase in global demand for AI computing power and the sharp rise in the cost of core hardware supply chains, in order to ensure the quality of service and continuous supply of computing resources, starting from May 9, 2026, the prices of AI computing power, container services, and Elastic MapReduce (EMR) related products will be adjusted by 5%.
Specific details are as follows:
AI computing power related product services: 5% increase;
Container Service TKE-Native Node related product services: 5% increase;
Elastic MapReduce (EMR) related product services: 5% increase.
In the context of the global explosion in demand for AI and rising supply chain costs, several companies have already begun to raise prices. Prior to this, on March 18th, Alibaba Cloud announced that prices for Alibaba Cloud AI computing power, storage, and other products would increase by up to 34%.
