On Tuesday, the rare earth concept rose, with Critical Metals (CRML.US) and USA Rare Earth (USAR.US) both increasing by over 7%, and MP Materials (MP.US) and Energy Fuels (UUUU.US) up by over 3%. On the news front, it was reported that the Trump administration plans to use an artificial intelligence project created by the US Department of Defense to assist in setting reference prices for key minerals, while working to build a global metal trading group. These mineral reference prices will be set by the Department of Defense's "National Security Open Price Exploration" (OPEN) artificial intelligence metal project. According to sources, Trump administration officials are initially focusing the pricing model of OPEN on at least four key minerals, including germanium, gallium, antimony, and tungsten, before expanding to other minerals.
