ENVISION GREEN (01783) announced that on January 28, 2026, the company entered into a strategic framework agreement with Tianqi Grand Vision Energy Limited (Tianqi Grand) to further cooperate in the following areas: 1. Core research and development cooperation: The parties will collaborate in the core research and development field, including jointly developing lithium-ion battery recycling technology (covering joint development of battery recycling technology and downstream processing technology for black powder), and enhancing the refining and recycling capabilities of high-value materials such as black powder. To promote this cooperation, the parties will establish a joint laboratory or project focus on solving key challenges in the full-process recycling technology, and jointly apply for research funds in China, Hong Kong, and internationally. 2. Equity investment cooperation: After completing the feasibility study on investment, the parties plan to establish a capital cooperation relationship through cross-equity investment. The aim of this cooperation is to develop closed-loop battery recycling technology and enhance the relevant processing capabilities in Hong Kong. In addition, the parties will jointly expand overseas battery recycling business, starting in Hong Kong, and gradually expanding to other regional centers based on the progress of the cooperation. 3. Black powder material cooperation: The company will provide Tianqi Grand with the required battery black powder materials. The Board of Directors believes that the agreement entered into with Tianqi Grand on lithium battery recycling, dismantling, black powder processing, and precious metal extraction in Hong Kong will create strong operational and industrial synergies for the parties. By integrating upstream recycling and dismantling capabilities with downstream recycling and product development, this cooperation is expected to optimize resource allocation, improve overall recycling efficiency, and create higher value in the entire lifecycle of lithium batteries, thereby enhancing the competitiveness and profitability of the parties in the constantly evolving battery material industry. Furthermore, the Board of Directors further believes that this agreement will deepen the company's involvement in the circular economy and green energy value chain, while consolidating its position in the Hong Kong market. Leveraging the respective technological advantages and industry experience of the parties, it is expected that this agreement will support the establishment of a compliant and scalable recycling platform, strengthen the company's environmental, social, and governance performance, as well as market recognition, ultimately creating sustainable value for the company and its shareholders.
