Meta company is expected to become the next company to reach a market value of 4 trillion dollars.
According to a recent analysis by BestBrokers, Meta Platforms (META.US) is poised to become the next company to reach a valuation of 4 trillion US dollars, following the historic milestones achieved by NVIDIA Corporation (NVDA.US) and Microsoft Corporation (MSFT.US). Data analyst Paul Hoffman at the investment research platform BestBrokers predicts that this social media and metaverse giant (currently valued at around 1.88 trillion US dollars) will surpass the 4 trillion US dollar mark before February 2027. Hoffman stated, "Meta's positive positioning in artificial intelligence-driven tools and immersive metaverse experiences reignited investors' enthusiasm in 2025." Meta's strong resurgence comes after years of strategic adjustments, with its robust advertising business continuing to play a significant financial role despite facing regulatory challenges. In this valuation race, semiconductor giant Broadcom Inc. (AVGO.US) closely follows. BestBrokers' analysis indicates that the company's valuation could reach the 4 trillion US dollar level by May 2027. Hoffman explained, "Broadcom Inc. plays a crucial role in advancing artificial intelligence chips and data center technologies, driving rapid growth for the company." He also noted that the company's transformation from obscurity to tech giant status has captured Wall Street's attention. Other tech giants are also set to join the elite club with a 4 trillion US dollar valuation, but it will take them a bit longer. Amazon.com, Inc. (AMZN.US) currently has a valuation of about 2.29 trillion US dollars, while Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Sponsored ADR (TSM.US) has a valuation of around 1.22 trillion US dollars, and both companies are expected to reach this milestone in 2028. Meanwhile, Alphabet Inc. Class C parent company Alphabet (GOOGL.US) and Apple Inc. (AAPL.US) are projected to have a smoother growth trajectory due to changing market dynamics and increasing competition. Analysts predict that their valuations will reach 4 trillion US dollars in August 2029 and January 2031, respectively. Competition to join the trillion-dollar valuation club is also fierce, with three large companies set to reach this milestone within the next year. JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM.US) has a valuation of about 795 billion US dollars; Walmart Inc. (WMT.US) has a valuation of about 785 billion US dollars, and these two companies are neck and neck in fierce competition. Over the past three years, they have achieved growth rates of 33% and nearly 30% through digital transformation, respectively. The research report suggests that Oracle Corporation (ORCL.US) is also rapidly climbing in valuation, with a 53% increase in valuation over three years, and is expected to surpass the 1 trillion US dollar mark within a year. Hoffman noted that disruptive tech companies like Netflix (NFLX.US) and Palantir (PLTR.US) have emerged as dark horse candidates in the valuation race. In just the period from 2024 to 2025, their valuations increased by 84.78% and 81.69%, respectively. As for Palantir (PLTR), BestBrokers indicates that based on the company's growth trend over the past three years, it would take approximately three and a half years to reach a valuation of 1 trillion US dollars. However, its latest annual growth rate significantly shortens this expectation to just one year and 7 months. Hoffman said, "As 2025 approaches, the race to reach a 4 trillion US dollar valuation is not just about the numbers themselves; it also reflects how innovation, strategy, and investor sentiment converge to reshape the global economic landscape. Meta and Broadcom Inc. are changing people's expectations, and the entire industry is closely watching to see who will be the first to achieve the next milestone."
