On August 14th, LENOVO GROUP announced its performance for the first quarter of the 2025/26 fiscal year: quarterly revenue increased by 22% year-on-year to 136.2 billion RMB, reaching a historical high for the same period; net profit under non-Hong Kong financial reporting standards increased by 22% year-on-year to 2.816 billion RMB, significantly enhancing profitability.
Currently, the ongoing digital and intelligent transformation of enterprises has driven the global IT services market. Gartner predicts that the global IT services market will achieve 4.6% growth by 2025, with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) expected to reach 7.8% from 2024 to 2027. The demand for AI-driven service upgrades continues to be released, with over 92% of enterprises planning to increase investment in AI services within three years.
Against this backdrop, during the reporting period, SSG revenue increased by 19.8% year-on-year to 16.3 billion RMB, reaching a historical high; operating profit margin reached 22.2%, an increase of 1.2 percentage points year-on-year, consolidating its position as a core profit engine. Among them, support service revenue achieved double-digit growth, increasing by 12.2% year-on-year. Operating service business and project and solution business revenue increased significantly by 36% and 18.3% respectively, with their combined share in SSG's total revenue increasing by about 3 percentage points compared to the same period last year, approaching 60%.
In addition, DaaS (Device as a Service) has become the core engine of growth and profit in this quarter, preemptively addressing customer demand for flexible AaaS (as-a-Service) models; TruScale IaaS achieved over 200% year-on-year super high-speed growth. The development momentum of artificial intelligence solutions is strong, especially in the manufacturing and supply chain fields. Looking ahead, SSG will continue to enhance capabilities under the architecture of the hybrid AI advantage set, strengthening core competitiveness. SSG will focus on digital office solutions, hybrid cloud, and sustainable development as horizontal building blocks or general solutions, deepening technology accumulation and delivery capabilities for customer critical scenarios. In the vertical field, SSG will create more simple, efficient, and scalable AI solutions to meet the urgent needs of customers and fully unleash the potential of Lenovo's hybrid AI advantage set.
