The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products stated that currently, the photovoltaic industry, as the core field of China's strategic emerging industries, is facing significant opportunities and challenges in the global energy transformation. However, some companies, in order to seize market share, engage in short-sighted behaviors such as exporting below cost prices and vicious competition, which not only harms the overall interests of the industry but also negatively impacts the international reputation of the Chinese photovoltaic industry. The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products firmly opposes all forms of unfair competition, such as exporting below cost prices. The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products issues the following proposals to the photovoltaic enterprises: 1. Strictly abide by the principle of fair competition and conduct business activities in accordance with the law and regulations; 2. Based on global market demand, reasonably control the pace of capacity expansion and orderly promote the elimination of outdated capacity; 3. Focus on technological innovation and quality improvement, and promote the transformation of photovoltaic products from "scale advantage" to "quality advantage"; 4. Strengthen self-discipline awareness in operations and collectively comply with the "Self-discipline Covenant for Foreign Trade Enterprises in the Photovoltaic Industry". The high-quality development of the Chinese photovoltaic industry not only concerns the survival and development of enterprises themselves but also carries the historical mission of global energy transformation. All industry colleagues should deeply understand the harmfulness of unfair competition, guided by policies and based on self-discipline, jointly resist unfair competition, build a fair and orderly export environment, uphold the "golden signboard" of the Chinese photovoltaic industry, and achieve the goal of "Chinese Photovoltaic, Globally Trusted".
