According to the message from the Cyberspace Administration of China, data from the National IPv6 Development Monitoring Platform shows that as of June 2025, the number of active IPv6 users in China has reached 834 million, accounting for 75.29% of the total Internet users in the country. The proportion of IPv6 network traffic nationwide is 31.12%, with mobile network IPv6 traffic accounting for 66.00% and fixed network IPv6 traffic accounting for 28.32%. Key indicators for IPv6 development continue to grow, showing a good development trend. In the next step, the Cyberspace Administration of China will work with relevant departments to strengthen policy guidance and promotion, fully demonstrate exemplary roles, continuously enhance the intrinsic driving force for IPv6 development, accelerate the transformation from usability to good usability, from quantity to quality, and from external promotion to internal drive, providing strong support for building a strong network country.
