Zhong Jia Guo Xin (00899) announced that on July 16, 2025, the company received a statutory demand for payment from a lawyer acting on behalf of creditors pursuant to sections 178(1)(a) or 327(4)(a) of the Companies (Winding Up and Miscellaneous Provisions) Ordinance of Hong Kong. The demand requested the company to pay a total amount of HK$11,123.4 million, representing the unpaid service fees owed to creditors by the company under the service agreement. If the company fails to pay the amount within 3 weeks of the service of the statutory demand or to provide satisfactory security or payment arrangements to the creditors, the creditors may file a winding-up petition with the court seeking an order to wind up the company.
