Zhonghua Bank Technology (00515) announced that due to the company's inability to reach an agreement with Grant Thornton Hong Kong Limited (Grant Thornton) on the audit fees for the audit of the group for the 18 months ended June 30, 2025 (financial year 2024-2025), Grant Thornton has resigned as the company's auditor, effective from July 23, 2025. Grant Thornton has confirmed that there are no matters related to its resignation that warrant the attention of the company's shareholders.
Upon the recommendation of the company's audit committee, the board of directors has appointed Ching Hing (Hong Kong) Certified Public Accountants Limited (Ching Hing) as the company's new auditor, effective from July 23, 2025, to fill the temporary vacancy created by Grant Thornton's resignation. The appointment is until the next annual general meeting of the company (and must be reappointed by the company's shareholders at that meeting).
