SINO SPLENDID (08006) announced that the group is expected to achieve a net profit of over approximately HKD 2 million but less than approximately HKD 3.5 million in the first half of 2025, compared to a net loss of approximately HKD 6 million in the first half of 2024.
The turnaround to profit is mainly attributed to the improved financial performance of the financial magazine and other media service businesses, including but not limited to effective cost control (such as the use of information technology and artificial intelligence functions in business operations); the fair value changes of trading investments improved from a loss of approximately HKD 6.1 million to a gain of approximately HKD 0.4 million and sales and administrative expenses reduced in the corresponding period.
