Hunan Warrant Pharmaceutical (688799.SH) subsidiary's raw material magnesium sulfate receives approval for listing application.

Hunan Warrant Pharmaceutical (688799.SH) announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary Hunan Huanada Drug Factory Chiral Pharmaceuticals Co., Ltd. ("Chiral Pharmaceuticals") has received a notification letter of approval for the listing application of magnesium sulfate from the National Medical Products Administration. This notification has also been publicized on the "Registration Information of Raw and Auxiliary Packages" platform of the Center for Drug Evaluation (CDE) of the National Medical Products Administration. The announcement indicates that magnesium sulfate is one of the raw materials for the oral concentrated solution of magnesium sulfate sodium potassium and the injection of magnesium sulfate. The oral concentrated solution of magnesium sulfate sodium potassium is suitable for adults and is used for intestinal cleansing before any operation that requires a visualization of the intestines (such as endoscopy, radiological examination, surgery). The magnesium sulfate injection can be used as an anticonvulsant drug for pregnancy-induced hypertension to lower blood pressure, treat preeclampsia and eclampsia, and can also be used for the treatment of premature labor.
