Domestic leading provider of advanced driving assistance solutions, Horizon Robotics-W (09660, referred to as "Horizon"), has been included in the list of stocks eligible for trading through the Hong Kong Stock Connect, effective from the next trading day.
On May 23, the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect (referred to as "Hong Kong Stock Connect") announced the adjustment of the list of eligible stocks. China's leading provider of advanced driver assistance solutions, HORIZONROBOT-W (09660, referred to as "Horizon"), has been added to the list of eligible stocks for Hong Kong Stock Connect, effective from the next trading day. Qualified mainland investors will be able to directly invest in Horizon's stock through the Hong Kong Stock Connect channel in the future.
As an important channel connecting the mainland and Hong Kong capital markets, companies included in the eligible list for Hong Kong Stock Connect must meet various criteria including market value and liquidity. Since Horizon was included in the Hang Seng Composite Index and Hang Seng Technology Index on March 10, it has met the additional requirements for companies with dual-class share structures to be listed for at least 6 months and have traded for at least 20 days. This inclusion indicates the recognition of Horizon's strength and long-term value by the capital market. With the unlocking of shares for free circulation, it is expected to significantly increase the activity and market attention of Horizon's stock, further enhancing its valuation and liquidity.
According to Horizon's 2024 performance report, Horizon ranks first in the Chinese OEM Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) market with a market share of over 40%. It has provided reliable and stable driver assistance solutions for 27 OEMs (42 OEM brands), with over 200 mass-produced models and over 8 million sets of in-vehicle computing solutions shipped. Horizon has become the "common denominator" for the intelligent transformation of automakers. Leveraging its integrated software and hardware technology advantages, Horizon's urban ADAS system HSD, using a one-piece end-to-end architecture, provides a human-like and trustworthy travel experience and will make its global debut in the third quarter on the Chery Star Tour brand models.
In recent news, Horizon announced new strategic partnerships with global automotive Tier 1 giants such as Bosch, Denso, and Continental, to jointly create competitive driver assistance solutions. Some solutions have already been selected by automakers for cooperation. Industry insiders believe that this validates Horizon's technology has reached international leading levels, and the ecosystem collaboration will help the company expand into broader overseas markets. Considering Horizon's growth prospects, institutions such as China Securities Co., Ltd. and Guotou Securities have issued research reports giving it a "buy" rating.
After being included in the Hong Kong Stock Connect, Horizon will provide global investors with a more convenient way to participate in the company's growth and help the company achieve broader development opportunities. With the rapid increase in penetration of driver assistance technology, and leveraging its technological leadership and ecosystem synergy advantages, Horizon's performance may experience dual acceleration in the capital market and industry landing.
