Chinalco and CATL Reach Strategic Cooperation

Recently, Chinalco Group and CATL signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Ningde, Fujian. The two parties will cooperate on the research and development of new non-ferrous metal materials, recycling of renewable metals, green power direct connection and energy storage, high-altitude source-grid-load-storage, and global industrial chain support. Duan Dongxiang, Party Secretary and Chairman of Chinalco Group, and Wang Shilei, Deputy Party Secretary and General Manager, together with Zeng Yuqun, Chairman and CEO of CATL, and Zheng Yelai, Co-President of the Market System, attended and witnessed the signing. Dong Jianxiong, Party Member and Vice General Manager of Chinalco Group, and Xiao Lina, Executive President of the Zero-Carbon Energy Business Unit of CATL, signed the agreement on behalf of the two parties.
