Waymo and Uber's (UBER.US) exclusive Robotaxi partnership in two cities will end in 2028.

Zhitong Finance APP has learned that Waymo, the autonomous driving company under Alphabet (GOOGL.US), plans to end its exclusive Robotaxi partnership with Uber (UBER.US) in Austin and Atlanta in the United States in January 2028, at which point customers will be able to book autonomous driving trips through Waymo's app. Waymo co-CEO Tekedra Mawakana disclosed this decision in an interview.
