According to CCTV News, starting from November 5, the collection standards for fuel surcharges on domestic air passenger transport will be adjusted. For flight segments under 800 kilometers, a fuel surcharge of 80 yuan will be collected from each adult passenger; for flight segments over 800 kilometers, a fuel surcharge of 140 yuan will be collected from each adult passenger; this represents increases of 30 yuan and 50 yuan respectively compared with the previous standards. Infants who, according to regulations, enjoy 10% of the domestic civil aviation adult ordinary fare are exempt from the fuel surcharge. For children, revolutionary disabled soldiers, people's police disabled in the line of duty, and disabled fire and rescue personnel who, according to regulations, purchase domestic civil aviation adult ordinary fares at 50%, the passenger transport fuel surcharge collection standards are: for flight segments under 800 kilometers, 40 yuan per passenger; for flight segments over 800 kilometers, 70 yuan per passenger.
