Prudential (02378) third-quarter new business profit US$709 million, up 1%

Zhitong Finance APP News, Prudential (02378) announces its 2026 third quarter results (on a constant exchange rate basis). Third quarter new business profit was US$709 million, up 1%, and year-to-date new business profit reached US$2.093 billion, up 6%. The new business profit margin rose 3 percentage points year-to-date. Strong growth in other markets, especially the bancassurance channel, offset the impact of lower sales in the mainland China life insurance business. Excluding the mainland China life insurance business, third quarter new business profit grew 13%, and year-to-date growth was 11%.
