The financial report shows that McDonald's revenue for the quarter was $7.157 billion, up only 1% year over year, below the market consensus expectation of about $7.29 billion; adjusted earnings per share were $3.57, up 11% year over year, above the expectation of about $3.40; net profit was $2.486 billion, up 9% year over year.
